The Remodel Process
Consultation and Planning: Lets Meet!
Opening your home to strangers is not something we expect you to take lightly. That's why we strive to get to know you and your needs while you are getting to know us. Our goal is to build trust, increase your comfort level, and communicate with each other to ensure we are a great fit working together. We then start with a free on site consultation where we discuss your project with you to gain an understanding of your "wish list" and review the existing conditions of your property. This ensures that we can make informed recommendations on how to meet your needs. We will also discuss your budget and time lines. Next, we will prepare a Design Agreement, which will outline the scope of the project. At this time, the agreement is signed and a design fee is paid, which is later credited to your construction contract. Now we are ready to get started.
Design & Review:
The next step is to get the designer, architect, and engineers involved if needed and verify all the details of your project and take measurements. Not all projects will require this step and most of our projects can be designed in house working with you. Shortly after, our team will meet with you to confirm your vision, scope, budget, and project schedule. From there, our team will work on creating the space that you envision.
Final Budget & Materials:
You will now have the chance to decide on some of the most important details, and we will guide you through the process. In your selections meeting you will choose flooring, fixtures, lighting, cabinets and more depending on the project. This important step to define the specifications helps us to prepare an accurate proposal.
Construction:
We will hold a pre-construction meeting to discuss logistics and expectations with you prior to starting construction on your project. Once work has started we will be on site daily to ensure we are exceeding your expectations and keeping you updated on the schedule every step of the way. Our production team is focused on making this process as easy on you as possible. We will protect your existing finishes and isolate the construction area from the rest of your house.
Completion & Project Close Out:
At this point it is time to enjoy your new space. At this point Greg and his team will do a final walk through of the project with you to make sure everything is complete, ensure that all the details are finalized, and that you are more than happy with the results and have complete satisfaction. You will then receive our care package with all the warranty information, care requirements and project information.
